In an X post on June 2, 2025, Hsueh described the decision as the result of careful reflection, citing the need to “slow down, breathe, and reset” after several years of rapid growth. She confirmed that the handover completed after the leadership transition three months ago.

“Morph has been my obsession, my home, and one of the wildest, most meaningful rides of my life… Now that Morph has successfully taken off and is on a clear path, it feels like the right time to pass the wheel.”

For the outgoing CEO, Hsueh stated that she will remain with Morph in an advisory role and intends to stay active in the web3 space.

She also highlighted that her successor, Goltra brings over a decade of experience in the industry, including leadership positions at gaming protocol Yield Guild Games (YGG) and international crypto exchange Binance. Earlier this year, Goltra became Morph’s Chief Growth Officer.

In a separate X post, Goltra publicly acknowledged the weight of the leadership transition and paid tribute to Hsueh’s legacy. He then emphasized that Morph is well-positioned for the future, with a capable team, a clear mission, and the drive to continue building.

“I find myself in the rather unenviable position of having to be the following act to a leader that has taken Morph from 0 to 1.”

Who is Colin Goltra?

He is also an angel investor and advisor to numerous global crypto projects and Philippine-based startups, often operating through his private entity, Soothsayer. Goltra engaged in numerous side projects within the crypto ecosystem, including co-founding the First Mint Fund to support NFT artists in Southeast Asia, launching Narra Gallery, an early NFT-focused art space, and advising on the acquisition and development of the NFT IP 0N1 Force.
